June 16 06:06 2026
A Heartfelt Tribute to the Barbers, Stylists, and Hairdressers Who Hold the World Together

Vancouver, BC – Vancouver-based singer-songwriter CampfireBob has released his latest single, “Hairdressers (I Have Known)” — a warm, reflective track that pays tribute to the hairdressers, barbers, and stylists who have offered guidance, comfort, and quiet wisdom throughout his life. Produced by CampfireBob and Kaj Falch-Nielsen at Blue Light Studios in Vancouver, Canada, the song is a celebration of the unsung sages found in every neighbourhood salon and barber chair around the world.

“Thank you to all hair cutters, barbers, and stylists worldwide. This song is for you. The quality of your advice is second to none. It is a lifeblood of humanity. You bring comfort and care to people in direct and supportive ways.” — CampfireBob

About the Song

“Hairdressers (I Have Known)” draws its inspiration from the real relationships CampfireBob has built across a lifetime of salon chairs and barber shops — moments of candid conversation that have helped navigate the peaks and valleys of life. The song is dedicated to Sashi and to every person who wields scissors and wisdom in equal measure.

Produced with the atmospheric textures of Kaj Falch-Nielsen at Blue Light Studios, the track carries the signature CampfireBob sound: eclectic pop-rock with singer-songwriter soul and a deep social conscience. The song reflects CampfireBob’s abiding belief in inclusion, diversity, and the interconnectedness of all life.

About CampfireBob

CampfireBob is a Vancouver-based singer-songwriter originally from the mountain regions of Quebec, Canada. Self-taught from the age of nine — starting on a toy guitar bought from a local toy store — he has performed across eastern and western Canada, the United States, and France, and brings the same warmth to intimate backyard gatherings as to theatre stages.

His musical journey spans jazz, Celtic folk, electronic techno, and bar-band rock, arriving at a sound he describes as “eclectic pop rock, singer-songwriter, and socially aware.” A committed collaborator, CampfireBob has worked with artists across Sweden, Montreal, Kenya, and Vancouver, including musician/producer Mice Elf, Quebec hip hop pioneer Johnny Money, Kenyan poet and activist Emrick Fe, and producer Derek Simpson. His music supports mental health, healthcare, literacy, and nutrition causes, and recognises hope and action as conscious choices.
