Located in the former Assabet Woolen Mill complex, Mill & Main is known for its blend of historic charm and modern business innovation. The new fulfillment center is a great addition to the local shop on Massachusetts Ave and provides the space needed to serve its local and online community better and strengthen nationwide shipping operations.
Co-founder of The Bee’s Knees British Imports, Lucinda Sears says, “In order to expand our collection of products and to ensure continued quality customer service, we had reached the point where we needed more space for efficient storage and fulfillment operations. The online business is a vital part of The Bee’s Knees, and from a logistical point of view, it is time to expand.”
Established in the 19th century, Mill & Main played a significant role in the region’s economic development and served as a manufacturing hub for generations. Today, the thoughtfully restored campus blends its industrial heritage with modern business innovation, providing a home for a diverse community of entrepreneurs, growing companies, and local organizations.
