ATLANTA – June 26, 2026 – Uplift TV Network has announced the appointment of award-winning filmmaker and combat veteran Elrico Tunstall as Vice President of Gulf Coast Content Creation under a new multi-year agreement designed to expand creator opportunities and amplify independent voices worldwide.
The appointment grants Tunstall significant creative leadership responsibilities as Uplift TV continues to grow its creator-first streaming platform and invest in regional production infrastructure.
Tunstall is the showrunner of the hit mockumentary sitcom Family Vibez and an accomplished writer, director, and film producer. A two-time U.S. Army 2nd Infantry Division combat veteran, he has received numerous military honors and commendations during President Barack Obama’s administration.
Over the years, Tunstall has established a strong production relationship with Cumulus Broadcasting in Mobile, Alabama, filming multiple live events and providing principal footage for the 2026 Spring Fling, which attracted more than 25,000 attendees.
In May 2026, Tunstall was further recognized for his community contributions when Gautier, Mississippi City Manager Carlos Moulds presented him with the city’s sacred government pin.
