Founded in 2003, STEP Metal and Plastic Technology Co., LTD. (STEP) operates from the Dongguan Digital Valley Self-built Industrial Park in Chashan, Dongguan. The company provides customised production of metal stamping parts, turning parts, springs, aluminium heat sinks, plastic injection parts, and other metal and plastic spare parts.

STEP owns a modern, self-built factory covering 60,000 square metres. The facility is equipped with over 250 production machines, supported by a technical force of more than 80 professional engineers and over 100 skilled technicians. This infrastructure includes imported processing equipment, mould manufacturing systems, and high-precision testing hardware.

The company’s products are marketed heavily in Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia. STEP has built long-term manufacturing partnerships with enterprises such as Jabil, Whirlpool, Siemens, Electrolux, F&D, Philips, and JOHNSON ELECTRIC.

Core Product Categories and Capabilities

STEP focuses on four primary product categories, applying strict tolerances and in-house processing standards:

• Precision Metal Stamping: Producing components with tolerances of ±0.05mm using self-designed and in-house manufactured tooling. Applications include ventilation grids, conductive electrode sheets, and power supply shielding. Materials processed include SPCD tension iron, Brass H65, SUS301, and SUS304.
• CNC Precision Machining: The machining division operates 58 Taiwan Ming Yang CNC automatic lathes, 26 CNC lathes, and 19 CNC machining centres. Turning and machining services achieve precision levels of 0.005mm to 0.01mm. These parts are utilised extensively in medical apparatus, automotive sensors, and precision instruments.
• Custom Metal Springs: Supported by 56 CNC spring machines, STEP maintains a daily capacity of 6 million pieces. The manufacturing range includes torsion springs, conductive springs, circlips, and constant force springs, with precision tolerances between 0.01 mm and 0.05 mm.
• Custom Aluminium Heatsinks: Manufactured primarily from AL6063 and AL6063-T5 aluminium, these components are designed for heat dissipation in electronics and home appliances. Finishing options include black anodising and washing, maintaining tolerances of ±0.05mm to ±0.1mm.
