“In 2009, Kevin and I decided it was time to open our studio, taking all of our knowledge and New York experiences with us! I shot all sorts of portraits at the beginning, but quickly realized I loved working with High School Seniors. It is such an important time in your life, and I strive to give you a customized and fun experience, creating portraits that you will cherish,” said Elle.
The “techy” of the team, Kevin, is involved in every aspect of the photo shoot, from sharing his experience on set to helping clients choose their yearbook image for the print order. Kevin acquired the artistic eye and skills required to create a great portrait.
“After graduation, I received a lead from an instructor for an assistant’s job with Timothy White, a high-end portrait photographer working in NYC. Portraits weren’t my thing, but after getting that assisting job, nothing has been the same since. I assisted him in photographing celebrities for movie posters and editorials, including stars like Billy Bob Thornton, Julia Roberts, Harrison Ford, and many others. But more importantly, I learned how to assist a portrait photographer,” he said.
