BEIJING, CHINA – June 23, 2026 – The strategic partnership between DataCanvas International and Sharjah Communication Technologies Authority has moved into a new phase focused on exploring the implementation procedures for joint projects and defining the next practical steps forward.
A delegation led by His Excellency Rashid Ali Al Ali, CEO of the Sharjah Communication Technologies Authority, visited the People’s Republic of China with the objective of strengthening the strategic partnership with DataCanvas International. The delegation was welcomed by Dr. Fang Lei, Chief Executive Officer of DataCanvas, and Dr. Xu Jiang, Head of International Business. The delegation was also accompanied by Jaf Mir, Director of Strategic Planning and Relations at AiCaravan, the principal strategic partner in this initiative.
The visit focused on discussing the procedures for implementing joint projects under the tripartite Memorandum of Understanding signed by the three parties in January 2026, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Communication Technologies Authority. This visit represents the transition of the partnership from the agreement stage to a phase dedicated to exploring the next steps in preparation for implementation.
The delegation also conducted a field visit to one of DataCanvas’s operational artificial intelligence data centers, where they gained direct insight into daily operational mechanisms as well as administrative and technical best practices. The visit served as an important reference point for understanding the technical and operational standards required for the upcoming project in the Emirate of Sharjah.
At DataCanvas headquarters in Beijing, both parties held a series of closed-door meetings aimed at aligning key milestones and establishing a roadmap for future cooperation.
