Ogden School District Offers Multiple Educational Programs to Help Students Get Ahead.


The Ogden School District is happy to offer multiple programs for the educational betterment of its students. Staff and teachers place a large emphasis on providing students with multiple opportunities to prepare them for post-secondary education or a career. These programs include:

International Baccalaureate

The International Baccalaureate program (IB) in the Ogden School District is internationally recognized and has uniquely developed over 35 years. The program is available in 138 different countries and gives students the opportunity to challenge themselves with rigorous coursework while earning up to 30 hours in college credit. IB is catered to different student’s needs and allows them to gain a competitive edge in future college or career applications.

Concurrent Enrollment

Concurrent enrollment classes are a great option for students who would like to earn high school credit and college credit at the same time. Students in Ogden School District can earn credits at Weber State University at a significantly reduced cost compared to standard tuition. Students can take the actual classes in their high schools from high school instructors certified by WSU.

Advanced Placement (AP) Courses

Advanced placement courses allow students to take on challenging curriculum to earn high school credits and then take a final test to earn college credit for the class as well. Ogden School District offers an extensive list of AP courses and has been recognized on the AP Honor Roll for increasing the number of students taking Advanced Placement courses while also maintaining or increasing exam scores.

Ogden Online

Ogden Online gives students the opportunity to work from anywhere! The district strives to offer excellent online courses so that students have the option to learn in the best environment for them. Ogden Online lets students explore different classes and pathways to graduation.

Spanish Dual-Language Immersion

The Spanish Dual-Language Immersion program in the Ogden School District serves students in grades 1-9. The program helps students to develop bilingual skills in a school environment. Students who participate in the program learn to appreciate new cultures and diversity while gaining a lifelong skill.

Bridge Program – Advanced Language Pathway

The advanced language program is for students participating in the dual immersion programs. Students in the program work on upper-level college language classes in a high school environment. A 3-credit college class is stretched out over the course of a school year for high school students. The curriculum allows students to challenge themselves while learning to develop bilingual and bicultural skills.

CTE Pathways

The CTE Pathways programs give students the chance to get hands-on experience with real careers or fields in their classes. Students can participate in different classes in multiple different areas to gain occupational skills that set them up for success. CTE Pathways show students a clear path to careers or education after high school.
