The 4-Step Guide to Buying a Pool Online by Australia's Most Innovative Company - Blue Haven Pools and Spa
Ordering a Pool in Sydney, NSW Has Never Been as Trouble-Free as This 4-Step Process by Blue Haven

January 27, 2022 – Sydney, NSW – This year, Blue Haven Pools and Spas boasts yet another one of many achievements – being crowned as one of Australian Financial Reviews’ top 10 most innovative companies in 2021. Indeed, it comes as no surprise since this is merely one of many wins for the family-owned ever-evolving firm, which has been in operation for nearly 50 years. In fact, they are the first company in the world to sell pools online with the buying process only a 4 step affair. This is grounded on their vision to help everyday Australians secure a bespoke pool easily.

How did they make it to the Australian Financial Review’s top 10 most innovative companies in 2021? — 4 words: Innovation, Dedication, Problem Solving and Efficiency. According to Boss Magazine and the Australian Financial Review, it all boiled down to how valuable Blue Haven Pools and Spas’ services are.

Blue Haven Pools

First, they addressed a problem that Australians confront daily: long pool design and sales processes. Second, their solutions go beyond client expectations. They are diligent, fluid, innovative, and one-of-a-kind.

Finally and most importantly, their pool buying solutions have been a valuable addition in the industry, thereby having a lasting and widespread impact. In conjunction with all that, the firm managed to provide customers with pools with minimal human contact, preventing the spread of COVID-19.

Here is their safe, easy 4 step process to buying an online pool:

Step 1. Making an Online Reservation

The initial step involves selecting and reserving a pool package, which starts at $349 for standard pools, and collaborating with the team later down the road. The pricing will remain the same as advertised if your site is a standard, flat level block with clay soil, open 2.5m x 2.5m access, no underground services, and a clear zone of influences to dwellings or structures. Blue Haven Pools and Spas will provide a cost estimate that primarily addresses site conditions if the site is sloped, has restricted access, is sandy or rocky, is sewage affected, or is in the zone of influence to a residence or construction. If the estimate fits your budget, the team will schedule a site visit and a custom quote. If Blue Haven Pools and Spa’s pricing guide is over budget, they will refund the $349 right away.

Step 2. Engineering, Design and Compliance

The site inspection confirms the verbal price guide and acceptance is then requested on the client’s part. Prior to the pool build,  the plans must be drawn, engineered and approved by the council or certifier. The pre-construction funds are now payable and Blue Haven Pools and Spas takes care of the permits.

Step 3: Contracted Final Structural Price and Scheduling

The design studio then contacts the client to schedule an initial walkthrough so that they may become acquainted with all design features, accessories, textures, finishes, and filtration options available. The client shall bring along a photo of the house exterior, exterior fencing, alfresco flooring color/texture, and landscaping, as well as a copy of their preferred coping tile. Final revisions and options are tailored here, and a final agreement is available for countersigning and the construction onboarding session. This session can be done one-on-one or in a group setting at Blue Haven Pools and Spas’ Lansvale Centre of Excellence. The state-of-the-art showroom is the ideal location for selecting pool finishes, filtration, and accessories, as well as receiving expert styling assistance. With Blue Haven’s 3D software and customised mood board, the client can have a fun and engaging session and presentation of their backyard.

Step 4: Construction

Implementation will begin within 4–6 weeks from the time of approval and as per the client’s directive. The timeline is also subject to weather conditions and type of contracted construction. Blue Haven Pools and Spas will finalise the construction plans and orders during this period so that the client’s file may be handed over to the Construction Supervisor. The Construction Supervisor and/or Construction Coordinator will get in touch with the client to introduce themselves once Blue Haven is ready to begin work on the site. From this point onwards, the Coordinator will keep the client updated on the progress of their new Blue Haven Pool.

The glory and award are well deserved. Blue Haven Pools and Spa have truly made having a bespoke pool safe, easy and fuss-free, yet held exceptional standards for their products and services.
