Offset Announces New Tree Planting Service

Saving the planter just got easier!

Offset announces a new service that includes planting 24 trees for each tree consumers purchase. This new service is an attempt to help individuals offset their personal carbon emissions that negatively affect the atmosphere.

Simple activities we may not realize harm our environment. A few examples include:

Google Search: Every Google search you do is equivalent to about 0.2 grams of carbon dioxide!

Netflix: A 30 minute Netflix show contributes to around 0.8 pounds of carbon dioxide emissions.

Showering: A quick 5 minute shower can emit approximately 2.5 pounds of carbon dioxide.

It’s no secret that the way we’ve done things is no longer sustainable. That’s why innovators such as Offset founder Anuj Shah and his team have taken action and chose to be a part of the solution.

“Human activities are responsible for almost all of the increase in greenhouse gases in the atmosphere over the last 150 years,” states the United States Environmental Protection Agency. Unfortunately, nearly all of our daily activities negatively affect the environment. And that’s why companies such as Offset have provided a simple way for environmentally conscious people to get involved.

“Offset was created as a way to help empower individuals who want to give back to the environment.” says Offset founder Anuj Shah. Anuj often heard from friends and family about how they felt they were powerless in fighting climate change, so he wanted to create an easy way for them to make a difference. It happened to fit perfectly for his love for trees and our planet.

Offset’s mission is built on transparency, unbeatable ethics and trust with their customers. All 40 of Offset’s planting partners are third party verified and they even have additional verifications in place to ensure each tree is planted and properly cared for.
