ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE Offering Gap Year Abroad Programs

ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE is the leading source available for American and Canadian students.
ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE, the leading youth exchange provider, is offering foreign education opportunities with Gap Year Abroad Programs to US and Canadian high school students.

When it comes to student exchange program providers, ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE is the leading source available for American and Canadian students. The organization is an offshoot of Rotary International, a mission for the promotion of peace and humanitarian work. Rotary Youth Exchange makes the most of the parent organization’s global footing to carry out exchanges across 100 countries. The local Rotary Clubs are involved in handpicking and preparing participants for enriching and incidence-free exchanges. The exchanges are sponsored by the parent organization, which speaks for their cost-effectiveness. The student’s stay and security are also coordinated by Rotary International.

The spokesperson at ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE recently stated, “Exchanges are an advantage that no student should be denied off. When students come in contact with new people, new culture and new geography, they tend to develop a progressive, global outlook. They get proficient in a new language, acquire leadership qualities, and learn to deal with situations head-on. Do we need to say that these attributes propel his/her to succeed in their personal and professional life? ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE has been providing life-enriching experiences to American and Canadian students for a while now. We are good at everything we do, which is why students trust us.”

ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE offers both, long term and short-term exchanges for 15 to 19-year-olds. Each experience is customized to the participant’s needs and complies with the established standards in safety. The short-term exchanges do not involve school time but provide foreign travel opportunities immediately after the student completes his/her school. The student can visit the best sights, sounds, and smells of the host country without a bother. A typical short-term exchange lasts for a few weeks and are structured as homestays, tours, family-to-family, and international youth camps.

On the Gap Year Abroad Program, the spokesperson further stated, “Our Gap Year Abroad Program is a typical long term program designed to help add meaning to the gap year. The program is aimed at creating multi-linguistic and multicultural personalities that excel at whatever they do in life. Current high school students are the prime candidates for the program. However, graduates from the US or Canadian high school can also be accommodated. Herein, the student is enrolled in the local school where he/she completes a full academic year. His/her lodging needs are well catered through highly trained host families. These families are carefully chosen and trained to take good care of the student and involve him/her in community activities.”

The selection criteria of the program are simple. The student just needs to be aged between 15 and 19 years, a leader in his/her community, and have a liking for exploration, learning, and assimilation. While lodging, food, and school expenses are covered in the program fee, the student only pays for round-trip airfare, travel insurance, and travel documents, such as passports and visas, in addition to tour expenses.
