Polyethylene wax widely used in PVC industry
PVC processing is a very complex process, easy to produce precipitation, discoloration, poor plasticization and other problems. Because the adhesion of PVC melt to metal surfaces such as screw, screw barrel and die head is serious during processing, it is necessary to add lubricant to reduce the adhesion of PVC melt to metal and ensure the smooth processing of PVC, which is also known as external lubricant. At present, the main external lubricants used in stabilizers are paraffin wax, Fischer Tropsch wax, polyethylene wax, oxidized polyethylene wax, etc.
Fischer Tropsch wax belongs to straight chain paraffin wax. It is added in a large amount in PVC product processing and stabilizer, which delays the plasticization of PVC in the extruder and reduces the consumption of stabilizer. However, there are also side effects such as insufficient plasticization, serious precipitation, and decline in physical properties. At present, most manufacturers add oxidized polyethylene wax in the formula to improve the plasticization degree of PVC melt, so as to reduce precipitation, increase the later demoulding property and improve the physical properties of products.The oxidized polyethylene wax shall be used as the lubricant for PVC product processing to reduce the material viscosity, improve the plasticizing ability and increase the surface luster of the product. It has good wettability, dispersibility and compatibility in masterbatch processing, and its product performance is better than polyethylene wax.
Sainuo ope wax
(1) High-density modified wax, it can promote plasticization, and it has a good post-thermal stability, it can give products a good plasticization and luster, long continuous production cycle, in masterbatch will increase dispersion and brightness, but it has an effect on the oxidative induction period.(2) In PVC system, low density oxidized polyethylene wax can be plasticized ahead of time, and the latertorque is reduced. It has excellent internal and external lubrication. It can improve the dispersity ofcolorant, give products a good luster and improve production efficiency.
Sainuo pe wax
(1) Features: colorless and transparent liquid, high hardness, good demoulding, high melting point, small weight loss, anti precipitation.
In PVC production, it has excellent adhesion resistance and can improve the fluidity. The excellent external lubrication can solve the demoulding of PVC products, reduce the cohesion between polymer molecules, improve the friction heat generation between the plastic melt and the hot metal surface of the processing equipment, and form a thin lubrication layer at the interface between the plastic melt and the metal.
